Do you move furniture?

We move light furniture to clean under it — dining chairs, side tables, ottomans. We don't move heavy furniture — beds, couches, dressers — because of liability for floors and our cleaners' backs.

Moving heavy furniture is how floors get scratched and people get hurt. We aren't insured for moving services, and an antique dresser dragged across original hardwood is exactly the kind of damage that's preventable by not doing it. We clean around and under heavy furniture as far as our tools reach — long extension vacuums, low-profile mops. For the area directly behind or under heavy furniture, we ask you to move it before we arrive if you want it cleaned.
