Help/About Your Visit·Updated May 2026

Why is my second clean free?

Because we expect to adjust things after the first visit. The free second clean is calibration, not a discount — it's how we get your checklist right before your routine starts costing money.

Most cleaning companies treat the first visit as the finished product. If something's wrong, you complain, they apologize, you try again or move on. That model assumes they got everything right the first time, which never happens with real homes.

Our model assumes the opposite. After visit 1, almost every home has at least one item that needs a different service level — usually a few. Maybe the kitchen counters were perfect but the master shower needs heavier scrubbing. Maybe the floors were great but pet hair on the couch wasn't handled the way you'd want. The first visit reveals these. The second visit fixes them.

Charging you for that second visit while we're still calibrating doesn't feel right. So we don't. Once your checklist locks in at visit 3, that's where recurring pricing starts.

What this means for your clean

  • Visit 2 isn't a discount you "earned." It's part of how every new recurring client starts.
  • The expectation is that you'll find things to flag. That's the job, not a complaint.
  • After visit 2, the levels are set. Visit 3 onward runs at full recurring pricing.

What to do

  1. After visit 1, walk through your home with fresh eyes. Note what felt light or wasn't quite right.
  2. Tell us on the follow-up call. Specifics help — "the grout in the master shower" beats "the bathroom."
  3. We update your checklist before visit 2 so the cleaner arrives knowing what to fix.

Exceptions

  • The free second clean applies to new weekly and biweekly clients. Monthly clients are handled at quote stage — ask us when we talk.
  • One-time cleans (deep, move-out) don't include a free second visit since there's no recurring routine to calibrate.

Your 2nd clean is free.

New weekly & biweekly clients only.
