How do pets work during a clean?
Pets stay in their home — your cleaner works around them. Tell us where they'll be and how they react to strangers, and we'll plan around it.
Most of our cleaners have dogs and cats themselves. Your home is your pet's home. We don't need them crated, kenneled, or out of the house for us to do our job — what we need is to know what to expect before we walk in.
A barking dog isn't a problem if we know it's a barker. A cat that bolts isn't a problem if we know not to leave doors open. The problem is surprise, not pets.
What this means for your clean
- We work around your pet's space rather than asking you to relocate them
- Doors stay closed where you tell us a pet is contained
- We use pet-safe products on every visit — not as an upgrade, as the default
What to do
- Tell us about your pets when you book — names, types, where they spend the day
- Flag any rooms to skip on your home plan
- Let us know about behavior we should expect — jumpers, escape artists, dogs that guard
Exceptions
- Aggressive dogs need to be crated or in a separate room before we arrive
- If a pet has a panic episode mid-clean, we'll pause and call you
If your pet is consistently stressed by our visits, tell us. We'll adjust the timing or skip rooms going forward. Their routine matters as much as the clean.
Your 2nd clean is free.
