How We Clean Your Baseboards

The baseboards in your home are horizontal ledges that continuously collect airborne dust and debris. Due to gravity and household airflow, pet hair often accumulates along these surfaces, forming noticeable lines. This constant collection makes them a persistent challenge to keep truly clean.

What we don't do

  • We never use excessive moisture on wood baseboards, as this can cause warping, staining, or damage to the finish over time. For painted baseboards, while a damp wipe is effective, we avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh scrubbing that could chip or dull the paint, preserving their appearance.

Why we do it this way

Dry dusting baseboards often just moves dust around, leaving a fine layer behind or kicking it back into the air to resettle. A damp wipe captures and removes dust particles, preventing redistribution and ensuring a genuinely clean surface that stays cleaner longer. This is especially true for the compacted dust found in 90-degree corners.
